Coaching · One-on-one · Since 2010

Coaching, tailored to your game.

Lessons are taught one-on-one over video call with screen sharing. Curriculum is built around where you actually are, not where a generic syllabus says you should be. Foundations come before tactics.

Approach

Fundamentals first. Tactics second.

There is plenty of instructional material online. Most of it tells you what to do, and seldomly explains why. Coaching is for the why, and for building the kind of foundation a student can keep extending after lessons end.

Most lessons run via video call with screen sharing. The bulk of a session is reviewing the student's own hand histories. We identify leaks, talk through conceptual gaps, and build a working framework for the spots that matter most.

Cash-game lessons follow the same approach, with different concepts to discuss. Live players are welcome too: many lessons happen without hand histories, using a curriculum built around the spots and decisions that come up most in live play.

Most students book in multi-lesson packages. One-off sessions are possible but the strongest results come from building a coaching relationship over weeks rather than chasing one-off questions.

What's covered

What a lesson looks like.

/01

Hand-history review

You send recent hand histories before the lesson; we go through them together with screen sharing, identifying leaks and conceptual gaps.

/02

Range & preflop work

Building theoretically sound preflop ranges and learning when and why to deviate from them.

/03

Postflop & solver work

Equity calculators, shove/fold charts, flop texture analysis, and GTO solver work, applied to your hands rather than abstract drills.

/04

ICM & tournament dynamics

Late-stage tournament play, pay-jump pressure, bubble dynamics, and final-table strategy tailored to the formats you play.
